''Caryocolum repentis'' is a moth of the Gelechiidae family. It is found in Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia〔(Fauna Europaea )〕 and Russia (the southern Ural).〔 ''et al.'' 2010: The gelechiid fauna of the southern Ural Mountains, part II: list of recorded species with taxonomic notes (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae). Young larvae mine the leaves of their host plant. The mine has the form of a blotch occupying the leaf from the base to the tip. The frass is ejected through the entrance opening. Older larvae live free between a number of young leaves that are held together by a spinning.
